MaryAnn Krejci, 75, of Plano, IL passed away December 19, 2012 at her home after a 3 year fight with cervical cancer. She was born November 20, 1937 in Indiana Harbor, IN to James and Minnie Mazur.
MaryAnn worked at a variety of jobs including Plano Molding for 26 years and Wal-Mart for 13 years. She loved reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, gardening, movies, and taking care of stray cats. She devoted her life to her five children.
She is survived by her children, Teddy Krejci of Bedford TX, Jo (the late Bob) Chatham of Plano, Ginny (Jeff) Benoit of Aurora, Greg (LeAnne) Krejci of Somonauk and Cara (Jim) Kensel of Plano; ten grandchildren, Courtny, Tyler Chatham, Calli (Bernardo) Trenado, Danielle (Corey) Erickson, Katy Benoit, Cooper, Connor, Kensi Kensel, Alex Krejci and Kelsey Albright; one great-grandchild, Austin Erickson; one surviving sister, Pat Thomas of Hammond, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Loretta Kowal and brother Ken Mazur.
A private family farewell celebration will be held. Memorials may be made to the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
