Mary Jo Wilkinson, 64, of Sandwich, IL and Titusville, FL passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008 in Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge, Florida following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 28, 1943 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Orville and Nan G. (Oschsenschlager) Klimpke. She married Floyd Wilkinson on July 7, 1962 in Aurora, IL. She was school bus driver for Sandwich School District for over 20 years. She retired from Wilkinson Excavating in 2004 as a secretary. She was a member of TGO Church in Florida, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed sewing, hooking, shopping and camping. She was happily married for 45 years and her greatest love was her family.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd of Sandwich; one daughter Kelly (Mario) Vitaioli of Janesville, WI; three sons, Michael Wilkinson of Sandwich, IL, Jeffrey (Lori) Wilkinson of Somonauk, IL, Richard (Heather York) Wilkinson also of Somonauk, IL; grandchildren, Jenna, Nathan, Sarah, Alex, Ashley, Mary, Zack, Destiny, Sophia, and Isabella; great grandson Aiiden, one brother, John (Tina) Klimpke of Montgomery; several nieces and nephews and a special cousin, Lloyd (Joanna) Ochsenschlager of Yorkville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
