Mary Ann Schweiger

Mary Ann Schweiger, 86, of Sandwich, Illinois formerly of Aurora, IL passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich, IL. She was born March 13, 1932 in Ohio, IL the daughter of E .Doyle and Anna (Gugerty) Morrissey. She was a member St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Sandwich. Mary worked at Mercy Center in Aurora, IL for many years. She loved reading, gardening, was very artistic.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Joe and Jim Schweiger; four sisters, Marlene Abens, Joan Marie Morrissey, Janet Mae Morrissey, and Regina Westhoff.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church 340 W. Arnold Rd. Sandwich, IL with Rev. Bernie Sehr officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery rural Sandwich, IL. Visitation will be on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be directed to Fox Valley Older Adults Services.
