Mary Louise Ostrom

Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Ostrom, 90, of Sandwich, IL passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born April 13, 1924 in DeKalb, IL the daughter of LeRoy and Mabel Barbara (Lienauer) Robertson. She married Harold Ostrom on September 15, 1946 in DeKalb. Mary Lou worked for several years as the linen supervisor at Sandwich Hospital.

She is survived by two daughters, Glorianne Gatza of Lincolnton, NC and Sally Luck of San Diego, CA; one son, Larry (Jane) Ostrom of Scottsdale, AZ; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Charlene Olson of Sycamore, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the funeral home in Somonauk.
