Mary M. Meyer, 82, of Somonauk, IL passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich. She was born October 22, 1931 in Victor Township the daughter of Raymond and Irene (Grandadam) Fox. She married Robert Meyer on August 2, 1952 in Somonauk, IL. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Mary worked as a Bank Teller at Farmers State Bank in Somonauk for 45 years.
She is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Schule , Kathryn Meyer and Ann (Ed) Stahl all of Somonauk; two brothers, Edward (Myrna) Fox of Waterman and John (Gwen) Fox of Somonauk, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, one brother Bernard and two brother-in-laws, Arthur Schule and Victor (Cody) Meyer.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 19, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk, with Father Andrew Hougan officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Somonauk. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, with the Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m..
