Marlene J. Hoffman, 90, of Somonauk, IL passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at her residence. She was born April 30, 1925 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Lee and Louise Trell Sweet. She married Robert E. Hoffman Sr. on September 22, 1945. Marlene enjoyed numerous pets and leaves behind her buddies, Jake and McGuyver. She enjoyed being outdoors, cutting the lawn and working in her garden.
She is survived by one daughter Karen Skip Helton Hoffman of Somonauk, IL, three sons, Robert E. Hoffman Jr. of Somonauk, IL, David L. Colleen Hoffman and Lee Robert Hoffman both of Rochelle, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert and one sister Donna McCloud.
