Mark A. Perrot, 69, of Aurora, IL. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, January 7, 2022, at his home in Aurora, IL. He was born February 2, 1952, in Ottawa, IL. the son of Allen and Diane (Rowlee) Perrot. Mark graduated from Somonauk High School and served in the army in Germany as a military police officer. Mark attended Kishwaukee College earning a horticulture degree. He married Mary Jo Cyborski on May 19, 1979, in Rockford, IL. He was employed by Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora, IL. He was previously employed by Edgebrook Golf Course of Sandwich for 52 years serving 35 of the years as grounds superintendent. Mark was owner of Country Crossing Crafts, homemade signs, and folk art; having had a booth at Sandwich Fair for approximately 27 years, also a booth at Cranberry Fest in Wisconsin for 23 years. He loved scooters and was a member of the Cushman Club of America and formed the Cushman Club of Sandwich. Mark loved to “socialize” and visit with people. Soon strangers were friends. Mark will be missed dearly by many.
He is survived by his mother, Diane Gould of Oswego, IL.; two sisters, Nan Burkhart of Oswego, IL. and Gay (Gary) Anderson of Somonauk, IL. and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo in April 2020, his father, Allen Perrot, one brother Brad Perrot, one nephew Grant Burkhart, his in laws Edward and Viola Cyborski and one sister-in-law, Donna Cyborski.
