Mark W. Johnson, 66, of Sandwich passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at his home in Lake Holiday. He was born May 11, 1951 in Aurora, IL, the son of Jesse and Helen Fritsch Johnson. Mark belonged to numerous bowling leagues, bowling was one of his favorite activities. He was proud to have bowled a perfect 300 game.
He is survived by one brother, Paul Lisa Johnson of Sandwich, IL; two foster brothers, Alan Janice Ward of CA and Don Cathey Ward of MN; three nephews, Troy R. Jaime Woods Robert Johnson, and Jesse Johnson all of Sandwich, IL; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Kay Woods, and one brother, Ricky Johnson.
Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL with Pastor Derek Johnsen officiating. Burial will be private at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the funeral home in Sandwich.
