Mark A. Gavin, 57, of Plano, IL passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Union, IL. He was born June 28, 1958 in Sycamore, IL the son of Robert and Rita Budauch Gavin. He was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano, IL. Mark enjoyed playing euchre, fixing tractors, shooting guns, antiques, gator rides with his grandchildren and spending time with his family.
He is survived by one daughter, Angela Kyle Rex Gavin of Plano, IL; two sons, Vincent Gavin of Leesville, LA and David Tonia Gavin of Yorkville, IL; six grandchildren, Cody, Lacy, Vinny, Chesney, Faith and Blake; three brothers, Pat Ricki Gavin of New Jersey, Greg Beth Gavin of Sandwich, IL and Dan Laura Gavin of Sugar Grove, IL; his special friend, Heidi Wilson of Rockford, IL and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano, IL with Father Andy Davy M.I.C. officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery Somonauk, IL. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL.
