Maria Elena (Martinez) Beltran

Maria Elena (Martinez)Beltran 78, formerly of Aurora, IL passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was born on August 5, 1947 in Brownsville, Texas. The daughter of Alfredo and Maria (Teran) Martinez. She met and married Udel H. Beltran in 1968 in Texas and moved to Aurora, IL in the early 1970’s to start their family. Maria was a devoted mother and grandmother who took pride in her home, which she made her place of comfort, filled with the unforgettable aroma of her delicious tamales which brought everyone together and her cooking.

She is survived by her five children, Udel Beltran, Jesus (Victoria) Beltran, Javier Beltran, Andres (Teresa) Beltran and Luis Beltran; four grandchildren, Lourdes, Nicholas (Jaqueline), Yanelli and Sikani; two great-grandchildren, Ernesto Udel and Amelia Ximena; five sisters, Maria De La Paz Magana, Yolanda Olaya, Rosario Barraza, Maria Del Carmen Barraza, and Esmeralda Vega; and six brothers, Alfredo, Jorge, Juan Jose, Patricio, Ricardo and David Martinez and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo and Maria Teran Martinez-Beltran, her husband, Udel H. Beltran, and four siblings, the loving older sister, Diana Lopez, Mario Maximiliano Martinez, Pablo “Chivy” Silverio Martinez, and Agustin “Freddy” Federico Martinez.

Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 10:00 am at Little Rock Cemetery located at 14733 North Center Ave., Plano, IL 60545.
