Lyle "Brad" Smith

Lyle “Brad” Smith, 81, of Earlville, IL passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center in Mendota, IL. He was born December 2, 1943 in Mendota, IL the son of Gale and Barbara (Wallace) Smith Sr. He married Tracy Werner on August 3, 1968 in Earlville, IL. Brad was a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Vietnam War, where he did film work. He was a licensed Barber. Brad loved fishing and playing cards especially “Euchre”. He mowed at Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville for many years and took great care of the cemetery. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by one daughter Kelly Kuhn; Four grandchildren, Allison and Emily Kuhn, and Rilee and Braden Smith; One brother, Robert G. (Jean) Smith; Several nieces and nephews; Two sisters-in-law, Dallas Willing and Kay Moritz.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Tracy, one son Darren Smith, one brother Gale Smith Jr.,
