Lowell Dalton Ambler, 17, of Earlville passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born March 19, 1997 in Mendota, the son of Max and Kristen (Sawicki) Ambler. Dalton was a student at Earlville High School. He loved all sports but soccer was his passion. Dalton also enjoyed fishing, farming and was extremely creative. He could draw extremely well and would buy model semis, take them apart and make them his own. Dalton’s greatest team, known as Team D, were his many friends and the communities that backed him. Team D, Live to Win!
He is survived by his mother, Kristen (Sawicki) Ambler of Earlville, IL; his father, Max Ambler of Earlville, IL; one brother, Bradon Ambler of Earlville, IL; two sisters, Madolyn and Kamdyn Ambler of Earlville, IL; paternal grandfather, Lowell Ambler (the late Shirley Cronin Ambler) of Mendota, IL; maternal grandparents, Don and Betty Sawicki of Earlville, IL; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the East Gym at the Earlville High School with Rev. Tammy Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25th at the school until the service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family, to a scholarship fund or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
