Lois M. Elliott

Lois M. Elliott, 81, of Somonauk passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL. She was born August 3, 1935 in Newark, IL, the daughter of Cornelias and Gladys Joneson Clausen. She married Walton Elliott on October 20, 1956 in Sandwich, IL. Lois worked at the Little Traveler in Geneva for over 20 years. She enjoyed going out to dinner with her family but her greatest love of all was her 5 granddaughters.
She is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Scott Thorp of Somonauk, IL; one son, John Elliott of Milwaukee, WI; five granddaughters, Elizabeth Elliott of Grayslake, IL, Katie Javier Landa Franklin, WI, Erika Elliott of Grayslake, IL, Alyssa Phillip Clark Thorp Waveland, MS and Jacquelyn Thorp Somonauk, IL; one great granddaughter, Sophia Landa of Franklin, WI; one brother, Milford Betty Clausen of Waterman, IL; one sister-in-law, Louise Clausen in Sycamore, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother, Clarion Clausen.
