Leonard A. Oeser, 58, of Sandwich passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, IL. He was born June 20, 1958 in Chicago, IL, the son of Donald and Helen Sill Oeser. He married Gail Ringelman on December 12, 2012 in Yorkville, IL. Leonard was a member of the Sandwich Moose #1016. He was always there for others. Leonard enjoyed gardening, being Mr. Fix-it, the Cubs, the Sox, the Bears, the Bulls, the Lakers, but most of all he enjoyed his family.
He is survived by his wife, Gail of Sandwich, IL; three sons, Nick Jessica Oeser of Oswego, IL, Greg Michelle Oeser of Aurora, IL and Doug Oeser of Corona, CA; one daughter, Alexis Martin of Aurora, IL; one stepson, David Lindsey Haynie of Austin, TX; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Ryan Salemi of Lake Holiday, IL; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Oeser of AZ and Sue Oeser of CA; three brothers, John Danita Oeser of CA, Mike Beth Oeser of Springfield, IL and Edward Tonia Nicholson Oeser of GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich.
