Lemul W. "Sonny" Miller, Jr.

Lemul W. “Sonny” Miller, Jr., 75, of Sandwich, IL passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich. He was born April 5, 1938 in Williford, AR the son of Lemul and Ethel (Wilson) Miller. He married Barbara Jo Ammons on October 31, 1955 in Hernando, MS.
He is survived by three daughters, Jo Ann (Lynn Lytle) Erickson of Maple Park, IL, Karen Morris of Huntington Beach, CA and Diane Jacobson of Ottawa, IL; one son, Robert (Jori) Miller of Sandwich, IL; seven grandchildren, Jenny, Ashley, Adam and Eric Morris and Jack, Hallie and Cade Miller; seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, one granddaughter, Lindsey Jacobson, two sisters, Helen Gimlin and Jo Evans.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL with Pastor David Kaul officiating. Burial will follow in Millington-Newark Cemetery in Millington, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the funeral home in Sandwich. Memorials may be directed to the charity of one‘s choice.
