Larris R. Larsen, 62, of Sandwich, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois surrounded by his family. He was born May 11, 1951 in New Hampton, Iowa the son of Oren and Elizabeth (Arne) Larsen. He married Jaculin DiMarco on July 24, 1970 at Zion Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, Iowa. Larris graduated from Clear Lake High School in Clear Lake, Iowa in 1969. Following High School he attended NIACC in Mason City, Iowa and graduated in 1972. In 1995 he graduated from St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
He is survived by his wife, Jaculin (DiMarco) of 43 years; two sons, Cory (Jennifer) Larsen of Silvis, Illinois and Todd (Jessica) Larsen of Hiawatha, Iowa; two grandchildren, Bella and Jack Larsen of Hiawatha, Iowa and his mother, Elizabeth Larsen of Alva, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Oren Larsen in 2000 and one brother, Loren Larsen in 2011.
According to his wishes, his body will be cremated. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714.
