Kenneth Ostrom

Kenneth “Ken” Ostrom of Millington Illinois passed away on November 2,2025.

     Ken was born October 22, 1953 in Sandwich, IL to Dean and Margaret (Coultrip) Ostrom. He graduated from Sycamore High School in 1971. He worked at several dealerships in the parts department as well as being a “garage” mechanic. In 1988 he and his brother Mike opened Ostrom Automotive in Somonauk, IL until his retirement in 2013.

     Ken was very blessed with 2 sons, Joshua (Mary) and Jared (Jennifer) Ostrom. Eight grandchildren, Brandon, Amanda, Shyanne, Savannah, Riley, Rory, Kailey and Hannah. And two great grandchildren.

    Ken is survived by his two sons and their wives, 8 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, the mother of his sons Donna and special friend Betsy. One Brother Mike (Sandy) Ostrom, seven sisters, Linda (Archie) Eastabrooks, Helen (Dave) Goddard, Melody Benjamin, Nickie (Tom) Marsh, Dawn (Steve) Graves, Starr (Ron) Peterson and Sharon (Bob) Miller.

     He was preceded in death by his father Dean, maternal & paternal grandparents and his nephew Tim Peterson.

     Visitation will be on Thursday, November 6th at the Turner-Eighner Funeral Home, 13160 US 34 W. Somonauk, from 1-3 Funeral will follow at 3:00, casual attire is recommended.
