Kenneth “Ken” Ray Tyra, 79, of Somonauk passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026. He was born June 26, 1946 in Haleyville, Alabama. The son of Elmer and Elisa “Eveline” (Ramsey) Tyra. He was married to Shala (Werner) Tyra.
Ken survived two sons, Terry and Ray (Kim) Tyra; six grandkids, Kassandra, Aaron, Alex, Josh, Katie and Madison as well as several great grand kids and siblings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Elisa “Eveline”, his wife, Shala, and several siblings.
