Kenneth M. Anderson

Kenneth M. Anderson, 91, of Somonauk, IL passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Michaelson Health Center at the Holmstad in Batavia. He was born January 1, 1920 in Newark, IL the son of George and Annie (Johnson) Anderson. He married Mary Prebil on July 9, 1945 in Rosewell, NM. Ken farmed all of his life initially near Plattville and the last 50 years in the Sandwich area. He was also an Army Air Corp Veteran and pilot.

His is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Anne (Mark) Eynatten of Chandler, AZ and Janice (Patrick) Fullen of Batavia, IL; one son, David (Bonnie) Anderson of Lenior City, TN; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Frances (Severt) Brown of Newark, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; one daughter, Diane Hebel; one son, Donald Anderson in infancy.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL, with Tom Eggum officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in DeKalb, IL. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011.
