Keith Morsch, 67, of Somonauk, IL, passed away peacefully Monday, August 3, 2026, at his home, with his wife and sons by his side. He was born August 6, 1958, in Aurora, IL, the son of Dan and Mary Ellen (Johnson) Morsch. He married Teresa Peppers on June 14, 1985, in Sycamore, IL. Keith was a member of the Sandwich Moose Lodge 1016. He retired from the Carpenters Local 916 in 2015 after 23 years with the union. Keith enjoyed attending his sons’ baseball games throughout school. He could be heard tinkering with mechanical things he was attempting to work on. Keith also liked to cheer on the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears. His happy place with riding around with his dog and best friend, Chase. Most of all, he loved his grandkids, especially making them laugh.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Teresa; his sons, Daniel (Mina) Morsch and Derek (Bri) Morsch; his beloved grandchildren, Austin, Nathan, Gianna, Hudson, and Henry; his siblings, Penny Morsch, Scott Morsch, and Neal (Chris) Morsch; his best friend, Chase; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Mary Ellen; his sister, Catherine Morsch; his in-law’s, Sam and Pat Choate; his sister-in-law, Julie Morsch.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home. A Funeral Service in Keith’s Honor will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the funeral home in Somonauk. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Hinckley, IL.
