Kathleen “Kathy” Heller, 89, of Plano, IL passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in Dekalb, IL. She was born on June 22, 1935, in Bellwood, IL, the daughter of William and Lucille Green. She married Jack Heller on September 8, 1956. Kathy was a devoted wife, loving mom, grandma and great grandma. She enjoyed spending time with family and was an excellent cook. She loved Jesus with all her heart and had great faith. She enjoyed going to church every week and loved her church family.
She is survived by her husband Jack Heller of 67 years, her four children, John (Tenley) Heller of Waukesha, WI, Tom (Dena) Heller of Plano, IL, Phil (Susan) Heller of Effingham, IL, and Paul (Sheri) Heller of Plano, IL; ten grandchildren, Lindsay (Tracy) Zundel, Taryn (Jeff) Whipple, Whitney (Dalen) Snow, Caleb (Jenelle) Heller, Sam (Rilee) Heller, Ben (Jessica) Heller, Jamie Heller, Jordan Heller, Elise (Kaleb) Hirtzel and Kristin (Andrew) Hirtzel; twenty-six great- grandchildren and soon to be twenty -seven; brothers, Floyd (Noy) Green of Las Vegas, NV, and Jim (Linda) Green of Plano, IL and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother William Howard Green, and father- in law and mother-in-law Lloyd and Ruth Heller.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 pm noon on Sunday, July 21, 2024, with a Memorial Service at 12:00 pm at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano.
