Kathie D. Streff, 57, of Sandwich, IL passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 in Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born July 5, 1957 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Robert and Shelby (Sanford) Murphy. She married Gary J. Streff on October 24, 1997 in Lodi, Wisconsin. Kathie enjoyed reading, candy crush, her pets Felx and coal, traveling and especially her family.
She is survived by her husband Gary of Sandwich, her mother Shelby of Yorkville, two sons, Ryan (Katie) Smith of Evanston, IL and Eric Ordonez of Sandwich, IL; two daughters, Tara (Carl) Dean of Hinckley, IL and Jennifer Streff of Sandwich, IL; three grandchildren, Eric, Kyan and Kylie; one sister, Sherrie (Jack) Miller of Sugar Grove, IL; one brother, Gary W. Murphy of Gilbert, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, one brother Timothy Murphy and one sister Paula Murphy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL with Rev. Michael Callea M.I.C. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery Bristol, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday October 21, 2014 in the funeral home in Plano.
