Karl M. Wallis, 51, of Sandwich, IL passed away Monday, February 28, 2011 at his home. He was born March 23, 1959 in Sandwich, IL, the son of Ronald and Patricia Mall Wallis. He most recently was employed by NTP in Montgomery and was formerly employed by Cascade in Yorkville. He enjoyed his family and both of his cats. Karl was also a basketball fam, during his high school years he played for Sandwich and Somonauk and was an avid Chicago Bulls fan.
He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Kendyl Wallis and Kyle (Bonnie) Wallis both of Sandwich; one niece, Ashley Wallis of Sandwich; four nephews, Christopher Rhea of Somonauk, Jeremiah Wallis of Burbank, CA, Ryan (Rachel) Wallis of Sandwich, and Jason Wallis, currently serving in Iraq, and two great nieces, Sophia Kordick and Sadie Wallis.
Karl is preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Wallis; his grandparents, Franklin and Margaret Mall and Charles and Ruby Wallis.
