Kareen Grace Holloway, 38, Earlville passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 30, 1979 in Elmhurst, IL, the daughter of Tom and Nanette (Grundy) Murray. She married Billy Holloway on August 15, 2005 in Princeton, IL. Kareen was a selfless and compassionate mother of four, three beautiful children here on earth and one angel who greeted her in heaven.
She is survived by her husband, Billy of Earlville, IL; her mother, Nanette Murray of DeKalb, IL; three children, Grace, John Thomas, and Jameson; her sister, Sara Murray of DeKalb, IL; her brother, JT (Charlie) Murray of Chicago, IL; her in-law’s, Anita and John Kurth of Princeton, IL; her sister-in-law, Lisa Holloway of Princeton, IL; her nieces and nephew, Khelsi, Matthew, Zoe, and Morgan; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that all miss her dearly. Her friends were her family, and her family were her friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tom and her daughter, Georgia Renee.
A Celebration of Life for Kareen will be held at Maple Leaf Park Campground at 1318 US 34 in Earlville, IL on Saturday, March 31, 2018 beginning at 11:00 a.m. In order to ease the burden of preparation for the family, we ask this be a potluck style event. Please bring food and/or beverages to share with family and friends. Cremation Rites were accorded to Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home.
