June D. (Klatt) Novak of Earlville, IL passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020. She was born December 19, 1929 in Earlville, IL to Alfred and Edith (Mahan) Klatt. She graduated from Earlville High School in 1947. On March 28, 1948 she married Alvin Novak of Mendota and they farmed on the farm where she was born. They enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and to many foreign destinations. She was a lifetime member of the United Presbyterian Church where she was very active in the choir, was a Deacon, a member of UPW, and a charter member of the Mariners. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and served as an Election Judge for many years.
She is survived by her much loved family; two sons, Kevin (Momoko) Novak of Tokyo, Japan, and Donald (Rita) Novak of Earlville, IL; two daughters, Phyllis (Jack) Jordan of Port Byron, IL, and Janis Novak of Davenport, IA; five grandchildren, Ryan (Nicole) Novak, Brooke (Joe) Hannon, Breana, Shawn, and Justin Novak; five great grandchildren, Evelyn, Tessa, Makenna June, Nora, and Joseph Jr., one sister Ruth Marek of North Carolina, and numerous Jordan stepchildren and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alvin, two sisters, Millie Hepfer and Helen Vorberg.
Private visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Earlville United Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Del Keilman officiating. Burial will follow in Precinct Cemetery Earlville, IL. A virtual online service will be available Sunday evening the 13th. Memorials may be directed to the Earlville United Presbyterian Church, the Earlville Ambulance Service, or the Ottawa Pavilion.
