Judith Lee Morrison Shaddle, 60, of Somonauk passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at her home after a short illness. She was born in Hereford, Texas the youngest of 5 children born to J.C. and Mary E. (Gage) Morrison on December 7, 1951. She was educated in Hereford, Texas.
Judith previously worked at the Wal-Mart in Plano for many years where she made many friends. She was surrounded by her very special girlfriends from the “old” neighborhood that called themselves the “Ya-Ya’s”. Judith will always be remembered as one of the strongest, caring, supporting person to almost everyone that knew her. She is missed by all, especially her family, as she was the rock that guided us all.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years: Dick Shaddle of Somonauk; her daughter: Erin (Clay Busset) Morrison; her sons: Jordan (Alma Kissel) and Dakota; her two precious granddaughters: Sydney Coselmen and Ashlyn Busset, all of the Sandwich/Somonauk area and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Marjorie Thomas and Mary Lynn Heddins; and her brothers: Raymond and Ralph Morrison.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Union Congregational Church in Somonauk, IL, with Reverend Michelle Prentice-Leslie officiating. Her remains will be interred next to her mother and daddy in Hereford, Texas at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
