Josephine Helen Krass

Josephine Helen Krass passed away peacefully at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, Illinois, under the comforting care of Heartland Hospice. She was 83. Josie was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Helen Krass,

Josie was an amazing individual.  She overcame physical limitations and learned to ski one-handed. She also worked with individuals with disabilities and taught them to ski as well.

Josie loved to travel throughout the United States and the world. She especially loved Hawaii and Disney World.

Josie was also an accomplished gardener. She enjoyed planting, picking and eating fresh vegetables that she grew herself.

Josephine was a loving and generous  daughter, friend, cousin and aunt. She will be remembered with respect and affection by those who knew her.
