Josephine A. French, 81, of Plano, Illinois passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 at her home. She was born May 17, 1933 in St. Paul, MN the daughter of Eugene and Helen Hulne. She married Harry A. French on July 19, 1954 in Plano, IL. Josephine was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano, Plano American Legion Auxiliary where she served as a past President, and the Sandwich Moose Lodge.
She is survived by one daughter, Helen Wierzvicki of Plano, IL; one son Harry (Sheri) French of Sandwich, IL; four grandchildren, Lea and Laurie French, Richard (Sarah) Hines and Dustin Hulne; and one great granddaughter Abigail Hulne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, and one son Tony French.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL with Deacon Doug Wells officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Bristol, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the funeral home in Somonauk.
