Joseph A. Hearn, 65, of Earlville formerly of Leland, IL passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford. He was born November 18, 1950 in Sandwich, IL the son of Herman and Ida Grace Malone Hearn. He graduated from Leland High School. Joe enjoyed coffee, karaoke, country music and his greatest love of all was his family.
He is survived by one daughter Becky Daniel Gensel of Bloomington, IL, one son Jim Hearn of Murfreesboro, TN, three grandchildren, Stephanie Marie, Tiffany Dannyal and Evelynne Grace; two sisters, Janice Les Yauslin of Sioux Falls, SD and Nancy Dewey Morrison of Quincy, IL; one brother Ward Cheryl Hearn of Somonauk, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL with Rev. William Weidenbach Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m., Saturday in the funeral home until the time of services. Memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
