Joseph J. Carbone, 82, of Earlville, Illinois passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at
Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Streator, IL. He was born March 26, 1930 in Cicero, IL the son of Salvatore and Mary (Augustine) Carbone. He married Glenda Ingram in 1967. He was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Earlville, Earlville American Legion. Former member of Bolingbrook Lions Club and the Earlville Country Club. Joseph served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army
He is survived by two daughters, Lynn (Walter Greene) Carbone of Earlville, IL and Shelly Carbone of Bolingbrook, IL; one son, Sam Carbone of Darien, IL; one granddaughter, Melissa Carbone; one sister Gerry (Joseph) McClain of Florida, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Glenda.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home 407 S. Ottawa ST. Earlville, IL, with Rev. Chris G. Haake officiating. Burial will follow in St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Earlville, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family at P.O. Box 653 Earlville, IL 60518.
