Joseph Alan Bebar, Jr. 41, of Plano, IL passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2011 and is now at peace with his Creator. He was born March 11, 1970 in Elmhurst, IL, the son of Joseph and Nancy (Hintz) Bebar. He graduated from Wheaton North High School in 1989. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving from 1989 until 1992 as an SPC-4 at Fort Ord, CA. He later graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. His passion for photography lead him to his most recent position as a photographer for the State of Illinois. He truly loved being an Uncle to his niece and nephew.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Nancy (Joseph) Butler of Plano; his father, Joseph Alan Bebar, Sr. of Rantoul, IL; one sister, Julie (Joseph) Zimmer of Fishers, IN; one niece, Olivia and one nephew, Augustin “Gus”; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano with closing prayers at 8:00 p.m. Private interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Memorials may be directed to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
