John William Paull, 58, of Lake Holiday Somonauk, IL passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at his home. He was born February 6, 1965 in Canton, IL. The son of William and Patsy(Caraway) Paull. He married Caroline R. Byram on December 17, 1983 in Naperville, IL. He was a member of the Fox Valley Laborers Union for many years. He was especially passionate about coaching soccer for his children and supporting them in sports which included baseball, soft ball, and cross country. He was a die-hard fan of the Chicago Bears. John was very fond of his dogs. His greatest love of all was his family, he enjoyed spending time with them and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife Caroline of 40 years; his mother, Patsy; his seven children, John R. (Erin) Paull of Oswego, Tara (Michael) Klaus of Montgomery, Dale William Paull, Brian Paull (Loren Benson) of Kenosha, Amanda Paull of Chicago, Hillary (Christopher) Frazzini of Montgomery, and Emily (Justin) Galusha of Yorkville; his six grandchildren, Dylan, Colton, Chevelle, John D., Ronan, Alex, and one soon to be. He is also survived by one sister; special nieces, Haley and Brooke and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 5:00 pm with Chaplain Dave Van Laar officiating at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home located at 13160 W. Rt 34, Somonauk, IL.
