John O. Frederick

John O. Frederick, 86 of Somonuak passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at his residence in Somonauk surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 9, 1925 in Chicago the son of George and Julia (McCarthy) Frederick. He married Arlene C. Watt on December 18, 1948 in Chicago. He was a member of the Beverly Hills Fishing Club. John enjoyed Math, Science, Worldly Events but his greatest love was his family.

He is survived by three daughters: Marilyn (Randy) White of Somonauk, Sue (Bob) Fowler of St. Charles, IL., Patti Frederick of Sandwich; two sons: John (Cheryl) Frederick of West Chicago, IL., Jim (Kathy) Frederick of Jonesborough, TN.; fourteen grandchildren; Eleven grandchildren; one brother: Harold Frederick of Canyon Lake, CA. and over the years found comfort with a special friend Lois Gatto of Beverly Hills, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one son Robert Frederick.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk with the Father Thomas Brantman officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Somonauk. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk with a Rosary service being recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
