Joel P. "Joe" Beck

Joel P. “Joe” Beck, 59, of Sandwich passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. He was born May 20, 1956 in Aurora, IL, the son of William P. and Ruth A. Holt Beck. Joe married Janet Zimmer on November 10, 1984 in Las Vegas, NV, and spent 31 wonderful years together. He was a member of Harvest Chapel Church in Sandwich, IL and Faith Assembly of God in Peru, IL. Joe worked at Designed Stairs for over 20 years and was a very talented wood worker. He enjoyed boating on the Illinois River with his wife, Janet, and his furry companion, Greta. Joe impacted many lives and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Joe is survived by his wife, Janet of Sandwich, IL; one son, Aaron Teresa Calhoon of Seneca, IL and their children, Logan and Brandon; one daughter, Lynn Kenny Carr of San Diego, CA and their child, McKenna.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Harvest Chapel Church 725 County Line Road in Sandwich. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the church in Sandwich.
