Jeffrey Lee Parkins

Jeffrey L. Parkins, 54, of Earlville, IL passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 At his home in Earlville. He was born April 10, 1963 in Aurora, IL the son of Richard and Nancy Frazee Parkins. He married Peggy L. Weatherly on December 6, 1997 in Sheridan, IL. He worked at Tru Team of Yorkville, IL for 35 years. He enjoyed boating, motorcycling, and most of all he loved spending time with his children, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Peggy of Earlville, his father Richard Betty Parkins of Sheridan, IL; two daughters, Heather Parkins of Joliet, IL and Amber Parkins of Sheridan, IL; three grandchildren, Brooklynn Cole, twins Jeffrey and Jousha Parkins; three step-children, Robert Swonke, Angie Henczel and Charlie Henczel; six step-grandchildren, Katherine, Brandon, Levi, Austin, Daniel and Annistyn; one brother Mitchell Donna Parkins of Wedron, IL; one step-sister, Annessa Brad Armour of Sheridan, IL; one step-brother, Jeffrey Jeanie Baker of Gaston, SC; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy, 2 sisters: Carolyn Davis and Camile Parkins in infancy, and one niece Shanna Lane.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville with Rev. Tammy Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
