Jeanne B. Mason

Jeanne B. Mason, 94, of Sandwich, previously of Lakeland, FL, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, August 25, 2014. She was born December 5, 1919 in Camden, NJ to the late May (Wooters) Brulatour Wood and Jean Leonard Brulatour. She married W. Finley Mason on June 20, 1941. Jeanne was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sandwich, IL. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 1941.

She is survived by her three children, Joseph (Diana) Mason of Chesterfield, VA, Thomas (Denise) Mason of Oregon City, OR and Jeanne (T. Ross) Valentine of Plano, IL; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters, Marguerite Wood and Elizabeth Beswick, her brothers, Jean Brulatour in infancy and James Brulatour.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at St. Mary‘s Catholic Church with Father Jack T. Heraty officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, September 8, 2014 in Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland, FL.
