Jeanne L. Fick, 80, of Sandwich, Illinois passed away November 15, 2020. She was born September 18, 1940 in Queens, New York the daughter of William and Lillian (Klein) Leicken. She married Burneal Fick on June 27, 1964 in CollegePoint, New York. She was a member of Living Heritage Lutheran Church. Jeanne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was known as a Christian woman, a great role model, and faithful servant. She was proud to be a Lutheran school teacher and enjoyed playing the piano. Life with Jeanne was a musical and she always had a song in her heart.
She is survived by her husband Rev. Burneal Fick; children Burneal (Sheila) Fick, Mara (Matthew) Springer, Charma Fick, and Robbyn (Dustin) Bennett; grandchildren Burneal Fick, Corwin Fick, Garrick Springer, Carrah Bennett, and Lyddia Bennett; brother David (Elise) Leicken; sister Bette Wenzler.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Lillian (Klein) Leicken; brother Ronald Leicken; son Darrel Fick.
A Private Funeral Service and Private Visitation will be held at Living Heritage Lutheran Church in Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL, with Rev. James Barbey officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Living Heritage Lutheran Church of Plano, IL.
