Jeanette N. Braatz, 82, of Earlville, IL passed away, Thursday, November 28, 2013 in Heritage Health in Mendota, IL. She was born February 6, 1931 in Foley, MN the daughter of Willard and Amanda (Olson) Ketcham. She married Clinton Williamson and after his death she later married Edward Braatz. Before retiring she worked at CTS Knights in Sandwich, IL for several years. She was a member of the Earlville American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by one son, Vern (Debra) Williamson of Earlville, IL, one daughter, Peggy Johnston of Durant, OK; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Marian Childs of DeRidder, LA, Ann (Glen) Fultz of Earlville, IL, Bernice Anderson of Elburn, IL, and Correen (Sesco) McClure Branchland, West Virginia; one brother James (Judy) Ketcham of LaMoille, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, and one brother Verland Ketcham.
Graveside services to bury her urn will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville, IL with Pastor Linda Thomas officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
