Janice E. York, 79, of Leland, IL passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022 at her home in Leland, IL. She was born March 28, 1943 in Mendota, IL. the daughter of James and Florence (Knoblauch) Foster. She was an animal lover, especially horses, her dogs and watching the squirrels in her yard. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two sons, James York of Ottawa, IL, Richard (Suzanna) York, of CA; one daughter, Stacey (Michael) McCaugherty of Glen Ellyn, IL; two grandchildren, Michelle Sibley and James York; three great grandchildren, Colton Sibley, Carter York, and Aiden Converse; one sister, Barbara Rodeck of Lima, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; sister in-law, Louise Foster of IL; one special friend Linda Lou Brooks of Leland, IL.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Richard Foster; her step father, Malcolm Carlson.
