Janice L. Roth

Janice L. Roth, 67, of Somonauk passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at her residence in Somonauk surrounded by her family. She was born April 23, 1945 in Chicago the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Gregorik) Lunetta. She married Dannie Roth on December 14, 1963 in Plano. She was a member of Harvest Chapel Church in Sandwich. Jan was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, following Him for 54 years. She raised three daughters to love and follow Him also. Her joy was her family especially her eight grandkids. She fell in love forty-eight years ago with the love of her life, Dannie and they lived happily ever after. Jan knew how to love and her family grew because of all those who met her. She fought the good fight, she finished the race, and she kept the faith.

She is survived by her husband, Dannie of Somonauk; three daughters: Julie (Aaron) Hendron of Somonauk, Shari (Troy) Tvrdik of Mongolia and Joanne (Steve) Thyne of Sandwich; eight grandchildren: Trevor (Hannah), Sarah, Josiah, Eliana, Isaac, Ean, Cooper and Ava Jan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Cremation services were accorded and a celebration of life service will be held at Harvest Chapel Church in Sandwich on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family.
