Janet Mae Morrissey, 72, of Sandwich, IL passed away, Saturday, May 16, 2009. She was born January 8, 1937 in Ohio, IL, the daughter of E. Doyle and Anna E. Gugerty Morrissey. She enjoyed teaching and had taught in Sandwich, IL, Texas and Chicago. She had a great love of traveling. She especially appreciated the time she spent with her family and her many many friends. She did allot of volunteer work always giving of herself.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Schweiger of Aurora, IL; eighteen nieces and nephews, Joe Schweiger and Jim Schweiger both of Aurora, IL, John (Janet) Abens of Sandwich, IL, Tom (Joanne) Abens of Somonauk, Joan (Alan) Eade of Sandwich, Patrick (Rosa) Abens of El Paso, TX, Charlie (Kellie) Abens of Sandwich, Mary (Doug) Anderson of Sandwich, Ann (Joe) Wiesbrook of Sandwich, Sean (Montserrat) Westhoff of St.Louis, MO, Peter Westhoff of St.Louis, MO, Bridget Westhoff of New York, Ben (Anna) Westhoff of St.Louis, MO and Terry Westhoff of CA; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, three sisters, Joan Morrissey, Regina Westhoff and Marlene Abens.
