James Paul Daczewitz, 50, of Earlville, IL, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Aperion Care of Spring Valley, due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident that occurred on October 8, 2016. He was born December 16, 1965 in Elmhurst, IL, the son of Hubert James and Judith Elinor Bell Daczewitz, Jr. Jimmy moved furniture for 19 years and drove a truck for 2 years. He loved antiqueing, riding his motorcycle, WWII memorabilia and his driving partner, his dog Dalilah.
He is survived by one half brother, Michael Daczewitz of Palatine, IL; many aunts and uncles; numerous cousins, including Laura Terry Rosenburg of Earlville, IL, with whom he resided; his pride and joy, Dalilah.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his trusted dog, Baxter.
Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Earlville with Father Peter Pilon officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the church in Earlville. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Earlville. Memorials may be directed to Laura for the care of his beloved Dalilah.
