Jack C. Kaiser, 89, of Sheridan, IL passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Ottawa Pavilion in Ottawa, IL. He was born May 1, 1927 in Sheridan, IL the son of John and Ruth Campbell Kaiser. He married Margie Lee Templemen Rissman on February 15, 1964. Jack was a veteran having served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the Sheridan American Legion and the Ottawa VFW. He was a drummer for Bubb and His Boys as well as an avid Bulls and Cubs fan.
He is survived by two daughters, Patti Steven Elzy of Plainfield, IN and Kim Kim Duffy of Sheridan, IL; five sons, Wayne Doris Rissman of DeKalb, IL, Dick Marcia Rissman and Jim Rissman both of Sheridan, IL, Reid Mary Rissman of DeKalb, IL and Kelly Tracy Rissman of Streator, IL; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren; one sister Marilyn Graffius of Everett, WA, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one daughter, Dale Lee Conrad, one brother, Gene Kaiser, one sister, Dorothy Gibbs.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL with his granddaughter, Megan Olson officiating. Burial of his urn will be in Sheridan Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016 in the funeral home until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be directed to The Sheridan Ambulance Service or to the charity of one’s choice.
