Howard Warren, 73, of Earlville, IL passed away, Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore, IL. He was born July 8, 1938 in Louisville, IL, the son of Benjamin and Lola (Johnson) Warren. He married Mary Agnes Nemes on March 22, 1962 in Norway, IL. Howard was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid woodworker, NASCAR fan, loved his bike rides and especially enjoyed spending time with his loving family.
He is survived by his wife Mary; three daughters, Pat (Larry) Akre of Morris, IL, Theresa Youssi of Sandwich, IL and Malissa (Christopher) Yancey of Streator, IL; three sons, Howard “Marty” (Michelle) Warren of Plano, IL, Ronnie (Lavonne) Warren of Marseilles, IL and Arthur Lee (Karen Cook) Warren of Sheridan, IL; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; five sisters, Frances, Fern, Charlotte (Delbert) Erwin, Leola and Barbara; one brother, Ronald (Sherry) Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Margaret and Rowina, five brothers, Arthur, Wayne, Gene, Lyle and Lee.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL, with Pastor Del Keilman officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
