Helen M. Stevens, 87, of Earlville, formerly of Batavia, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at home in Earlville. She was born July 13, 1926 in Platteville, WI, the daughter of Bernard and Nellie Risic Udelhoven. Helen worked at Furnace Electric in Batavia and Mooseheart as secretary for the president for many years. Her family and friends meant the world to her.
She is survived by three sons, Jim Buffy Stevens of North Aurora, IL, John Aileen Stevens of Earlville, IL and Joe Stevens of West Chicago, IL; five grandchildren, Kelly Stevens, Aaron Stevens, Adam Stevens, Eric Stevens, and Rachel Stevens; one great grandchild, Michelle Stevens; one sister, Mary Hoff of Cuba City, WI; one brother, Bernard "Hap" Fritz Udelhoven of Dubuque, IA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, Arthur Stevens, one granddaughter, Michelle Stevens, one brother, Leonard Bee Udelhoven and one brother-in-law, Myron Hoff.
