Helen Virginia Roth, 91, of Sheridan, IL passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 27, 1921 in Webster City, Iowa the daughter of Sherman and Myrtle (Coats) Rose. She married Leslie L. Roth on February 15, 1937. Helen worked as a waitress in Shabbona, she also worked at Ho-Ka Turkey Farm, and word at CTS Knights Corp. in Sandwich for 30 years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church for 63 years. She raised a family of 10 children with love and pride. Mom taught us to love God and care about others, she was a wonderful mother. She will be missed but never ever forgotten.
She is sleeping in Jesus till resurrection morning-1 Thessalonians 4:15-18.
She is survived by three daughters, Sherron (Robert) Lockwood of Leland, Brenda Fuchs of Sheridan and Debra (Walter) Hupe of Forsyth; seven sons, Jim (Jackie) Roth of Sheridan, Dan Roth of Somonauk, Gary (Karen) Roth of Leland, Granville (Janet) Roth of Mendota, Richard (Kathy) Roth of TN, Conrad (Deanna) Roth of Paw Paw and Rodney (Pat) of Sheridan; 29 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leslie, a granddaughter, Becky, a great-granddaughter, Allison, a son-in-law, Brian Fuchs and a daughter-in-law, Janice Roth, 2 brothers and 1 sister in infancy.
According to Helen’s wishes there will be no visitation and a Celebration of her life will be held at her church at a later date.
