Helen Diana Getty, 73, of Glen Ellyn, formerly of Wheaton, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Heritage Woods of Yorkville. She was born January 25, 1941 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Robert and Mary (Glowacki) Linar. Helen was an art teacher in Wheaton and Glen Ellyn for many years. She was extremely creative. Helen loved to design, draw, sculpt and make jewelry.
She is survived by loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
