Harry W. Flowers, 59, of Somonauk passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at his residence in Somonauk. He was born May 24, 1955 in Moline, IL., the son of Loren and Patricia (Frazier) Flowers. He married Laura (Keathley) Thrasher on June 8, 2013 in Akron, Ohio. He was a member of Gospel Assembly Church of Oswego.
He is survived by his wife of Somonauk; his parents of Millington; one stepson, Christopher Thrasher of Akron, Ohio; one sister, Nel Schofield of Yorkville; one nephew, Jeremy (Linda) Schofield of Plano; two great nieces, Lauren and Courtney Schofield; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Floyd and Dorothy Keathley of Akron, Ohio; three sister-in-law’s, Sheri (Mike) Jackson of Akron, Ohio, Cindi (Bill) Holderbaum of Mogadore, Ohio, Karen (Tony) Manna of Akron, Ohio; two brother-in-law’s, Rick (Diana) Keathley of Uniontown, Ohio, Tom Keathley of Akron, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one nephew, Thomas Schofield Jr.
A celebration of Harry’s life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Gospel Assembly Church of Oswego with the Pastor Daniel Dycus officiating.
