Harriette Neilson, 95, of Sandwich passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich. She was born August 23, 1919 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Herman and Louise Eisenberg. She married Harold Neilson on July 3, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI. Harriette was a member of Cornerstone Church in Sandwich, charter member of Faith Bible Church and Christian Missionary Alliance both of Milwaukee. She loved Christian music, Harriette played numerous instruments and she was a choir leader. Her greatest love of all was family get togethers. Harriette’s Christian testimony and especially her children’s ministry impacted her family and numerous others.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy (Jerry) LeVan of Somonauk, IL; one son, Dennis (Sandy) Neilson of Sandwich, IL; six grandchildren, Daniel (Marianne) LeVan, David (Leslie) LeVan, Dawn Salveson, Keli (Tim) Culp, Kimberly (Jason) Schoepke and Kristi Neilson; thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold and twelve brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Cornerstone Church in Sandwich with Pastor Paul Banister officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the church in Sandwich. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca, WI on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be directed to Cornerstone Church or Harriette’s Song.
