Harriet Coe Larson, 87, of rural Hinckley, IL passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007 in Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich. She was born September 27, 1920 in Pana, IL the daughter of Myron and Lola Cothern Coe. She graduated from Shabbona High School in the class of 1937. She married Howard C. Larson on February 28, 1941 and was a devoted farm wife of 66 years. She was a member of Somonauk United Presbyterian Church for over 62 years, where she served as a teacher, Jr. Missonary co-leader, officer of the woman's missionary group, and many years as the church organist. She also played at other local churches. She was a graduate of NIU at Dekalb in the class of 1975.
She is survived by her husband, Howard C. Larson of Hinckley, three children Janet (Lyman) Newton of Aurora, IL, Joan (Greg) Hansen of Cherry Valley, IL, Roger (Beverly) Larson of Hinckley, IL; three grandchildren, David Newton, Ryan Hansen, and Jolee Larson; two sisters in laws, Dorothy Coe of Montgomery, IL and Lucille Larson of Shabbona, IL and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Robert Coe.
